New site offering cash to upload photos - Albumo 1 Year, 3 Months ago Karma: 0
Albumo is offering $25 if you get 250 photos accepted on their site (offering more if you get over 1000 but this is out of my league).

I haven't heard any reports of sale yet but have heard that lots of people are joining up so they should have a viable amount of images soon to start advertising.

Has anyone joined up yet? Experiences?

I haven't heard of it before I'll look into them.

As an update. They seem to have about 60,000 photos for sale. It is a strange mesh of photos sharing (free?) and paid stock photos. Their domain has no page rank yet, so they must be really new. It will be interesting to see how things shape up. There is obviously a whole lot of (downloads: 0) on their images.

I first heard about them 1 week ago so getting 60,000 images that quick is very well done.

They have the "early adopters". Now they need sales to ge the "sales chasers".

I am still holding off. I dont think the new agencies can compete unless they offer something special.
