Success with illustrations on microstock sites? 1 Year, 8 Months ago

I am mainly an illustrator who enjoys shooting photos occasionally. A friend told me about the microstock world and I thought I would check it out. I found this site (great site by the way) by a Google search.
I know that several of the agencies accept illustrations, I was wonder how much success people have with these. Are they all vector, or do you subject different types. Thanks for any help!

I would say that while 40% of my portfolio is illustrations (vector, background, 3d render) that over 60% of my income comes from these.
In my opinion, however they are harder to create and may take more time than they are worth. You can hire a model and take 30-40 images in 2 hours. With 2 more hours of processing you will have 25 good images in 4 hours. This is hard to do in illustrations.
I am open to others opinions as usual
