Hi Forum,

I'm a Newbie. I'm a commercial photogapher and filmmaker living near Tucson, Arizona.

I've just gotten started in MicroStock. I'm contributing to Istock/DreamsTime/Fotolia/FeaturePics/LuckyOliver/StockXpert/123rf/Albumo/CreStock/MicroStockPhot/PhotZip

I have a hundred questions...but I'll hold back and do some forum reading first so I don't ask the same questions everyone has heard a hundred times.

I am interested in strategies...how MicroStock fits in various pros approach/income/etc.

So far (just a month or so) I'm WAY upside down in the effort vs. rewards equation. However, my sense is that it gets easier and a bit more profitable as new images get added to those already there.

Anyway, I'll lurk for a while.

Cheers...from Tucson.

Scott

Welcome to the forums. The nice thing about Microstock is that the whole industry is rather new (<5 years) so for now, its impossible to be too behind. I think you will find that the money starts to make sense, for me it took about 6 months. Now I can even take a month off and not see my earning slip to much.

Hope to hear more from you.
