Hello All,
How many agencies did you initially submit to when starting out?I recommend taking them on 1-2 at a time. Each agency has a vibe and they like and dislike certain _style_s/ types etc. I have found that what is accepted and sells is different for different agencies.
I recommend starting out with
Dreamstime and
Fotolia. People seem to have a harder time getting things accepted at
Shutterstock and
iStock, but they would still be my next recommendations.
LuckyOliver is good for "real people" feedback and StockXpert is starting to earn more for me. Once you feel like you "know an agency" add another one. Some agencies still haven't really started to make me money, like CanStock, so I only submit when I am REALLY bored.
The submission process at some sites is way better than others. I think Shutterstock and 123RF are the easiest, followed by Dreamstime and BigStock. I don't like Fotolia, because its to slow, but they seel to sell well, so I put up with it. And don't even ask about iStock, I can't stand the process.
